Medical gadgets.

My father is really hard to buy for the holidays. His birthday is in January so i have a double batch of fun getting him gifts. :(

He has a interest in monitoring his health at home. Blood pressure, blood sugar, and weight, basically anything he can do at home.

Has anyone come across any new gadgets that will give him some type of reading or what not in regards to his health?

Breathalyzer for Japanese Commercial Drivers
This is an interesting development from Japan - a video phone incorporating a breathalyzer. Transportation companies are buying them for their commercial vehicles, and requiring drivers to make a phone call to head office and then to blow into the device. Because the unit incorporates video, it is impossible for someone else to take the breath test. A company computer performs an analysis of the driver's breath.

Not that he drinks but he is always asking if we (his kids) are on drugs LOL. Now he can test us! :p
