I'll go with what it's called. But CG Forums sounds much easier to type, rather than Coolest Gadgest Forum. In short, I'll rather type CG.

id goes as far as a bunch of idiots signing it after spamming thier friends tooo and than does nothing... thats usualy as far as online petetions go :)
I often do refer to this place as CGF. CG Forums or CGF doesn't really bother me.

I still think that if you have such "big" issues with the abbreviated name 'cg', you have bigger issues to deal with. ;) There are more than enough things that we could petition for... let's not waste our time with small things. Go petition for anti-war. That's more frutful.
If you think petetioning for anti war is going to get our troops out you need to move out of TX to like NY or some thing because your delousional.
I think im going to make a new logo design set and do the main CG logo and CGF logo to complament it.

If you thought I was actually talking about pulling our troops out, YOU are delusional. My whole debate was using anti-war protest as an example, that that is more fruitful than trying so hard to get CG changed. Please try not to insert words into my mouth... uh... posts.

I concur...
Becuase the site needs some branding honestly... Look at engadget, gizmodo, ect ects super clean layout but it has its oeb Identification design that is clean and very nice.

First of all, this site is very NEW. As for its brand, the Coolest Gadgets makes it an excellent brand name on top of all other gadget sites, well, apart from fanciful names.
Next, I only have one word for the design. It's Sweet! It's so clean, and "concise". I think this site is worth mentioning for, for its clean and sleek design.
Basically, you seem to be creating issues when there is none, e.g., this thread is talking about "Disagreeing to call it a CG Forum", then all of a sudden the focus is on the design??? Hello???? can we have some direction? I'm confused >_<
anyway, just to comment, sometimes i really can't understand your superb gadgetty language, whether you have your own grammer tool or something that sort. Trust me, I have to read your sentence at least 3 times over, just to understand what you are writing, pal... ;)

The logo its self is just simply typed out no diffrent than any thing that you could do in work with no uniqe personality to make it stick out from the crowd. Looks like just another template. Keep the simplicity of the site just give it its own personality. thats all im saying.

Dont have to have a graphical logo use a typographical logo instead a simple type fix usualy helps drasicaly.

did you miss the first 6 posts? I dont know you tell me.... the whole CG to CGF started as a joke. The name thing was a joke bottom line but then the topic sprawled into a Identification design and in all honesty the site does need.

Hasn't this thread turned into a party, loosen up guys and Case get a spelling and grammar checker plug-in :).
Like I said about 47 pages ago, the main site will be getting a redesign which will likely include the logo, though I still reckon content is a lot more important, looks are so superficial.
