Would you use one of these hand dryers at your house?

Reminds me of old school public bathrooms, but it would actually be nice since it does dry both sides, and keeps you from having to use towels.

That looks quite space-age...sorta. I also like the simultaneous front and back drying feature.

Would I use it? Hmmm...probably not. I'm not patient enough to stand and wait for my hand to dry in air, I usually just reach for a towel.

Only in public restrooms do i like hand drying. Its just cleaner and nothing to touch. At home i use a towel and its done. I wouldnt want to spend the extra time waiting around and it does dry out your skin.

I hate hate hate using those air hand-dryers. Hate. It takes forever to dry your hands, and I simply haven't got the patience. I usually end up giving up and drying my hands on the butt of my jeans. :p Oh, and they're noisy... I wouldn't have one in my house.

This reminds me of blade runner. Do you remember when he went in to talk to the snake charmer and she took a fast shower and was blown dry with her hair done as well. I want one of those showers!

Yeah, one of those showers would be brilliant.

I know that I would not like a hand dryer in my home. When I go some where they have one I do not have the patience to wait for my hands to dry. I end up drying them on my clothes

I dont really mind that at all, but at one point I was actually thinking, are we getting lazy? Nah!

Theres a pic here on how it works: http://forums.coolest-gadgets.com/showthread.php?t=1020

Aparently is not as origional as we thought as the Mitsubishi Jet Towel (almost exactly the same) has been around for about 10 years.

I like the product, but am always skeptical of sticking my hands into holes.

It has been said that the design of this kind of hand dryer is much more hygiene than the old version where we put our hand underneath the dryer. In Malaysia, most of the newly build shopping centre has installed this kind of hand dryer, but a larger version of it.

In a word, no! Having said that, I wouldn't have any hand dryer in my house - but towels!

In the airport or shopping centre, I think these are great as they're quick. And economic too, but that's not my problem...

Hand dryers traditionally are far too slow, making them faster is definatley a good idea.
