This is quite expensive. But it is nice to see that someone out there is thinking of something that I would love to have someday. Not at this price, but the idea is a great one. http://spluch.blogspot.com/2006/10/chinese-scientists-invent-first.html

Great if you like Chinese cooking (which I do). I wonder how long it will take for them to develop a robot that is capable of preparing other cuisines?

lol... Yeah, I'm going to hold out for the Mexican Chef Robot, Juan. Mmmmmm. Much as I like Chinese food, I think I'd rather have enchiladas ready for me when I get home from work.

I don't understand why it can only cook chinese. It seems if it could cook chinese, it could cook a lot of other stuff as well.

You are right on that triumph. But I would think it wouldn't be to hard to add more to it. They already have the basics down. This might be closer then I think. Now for the price to drop.

Not sure if i would trust a robot in the kitchen! I'm too picky. Sounds like an interesting concept, perhaps in time it will be able to create more than just chinese as well. For the cost of the robot, I could enjoy chinese take away for quite some time

this sounds pretty amazing and if i wun the lottery it would certainly be up there on my most wanted list but i mean theres always flaws and errors with such technology i just hope it doesnt turn on you and not do the washing up and consistently burn the food erm no anyway thats not possible only human men are cloned this way especially my hubby hehe

Good God! Some one invented something to do something Lol
It mind be a good news for all those busy and lazy bees! But as I am concerned, I would like to cook and serve all by myself for my beloved ones! What would be interesting in one's life if even cooking is done by a Robot?! I personally dont encourage this! The main content of any food is not just it's taste but the love and care which we mix in it! Aww! I am getting emotional lol

You would think it would be a simple matter of reprogramming the robot, no?

I would love to have a cooking robot, but I have a deep seated fear of the world going all i-robot on me, the movie I mean, not the vacuum

This is wonderful if machine cooks food for you.
But question is coming in my mind is that It would be safe for health.I mean ur all cooking will be done through electric waves.

Asians appear to love robots like this but, I have wonder about their usability. I do however think it's a good idea to build and improve robots. I recall seeing articles about cyber nannies, pets and such in the past.

The CHinese are obssesed with food, so hopefully the robot is up to the task or it may be served along with the duck.

Seems like a Japanese gadget...

Surprised the Japanese didn't invent something like this.

And yes, I do like Chinese food - could get tired after a week of crispy duck rolls though...
