I have a friend who wants to purchase an MP3 player, but is looking for something fairly cheap. He only wants about 30-50 songs on it and he needs something that is easy to use. Does anyone have any good ideas for low-cost MP3 players? I have an ipod and I love it, but I don't think it's really the right MP3 player for him.

Something like Sandisk Sensa series will do fine then... 512 MB version is less than $50 by now...

there's several low cost mp3 player on ebay, but i'd probably won't recommend them.
Amazon would be a more preferred choice for buying these gadgets.

What about the Creative Zen? They have a variety of capacities/features/prices, ranging from $90 to more than $200. The $90 holds about 500 songs, I believe.

If your friend is looking for a low-capacity, low-cost MP3 a Chinese suppliers is always a good option. Some online wholesalers, like ourselves, will even give you a 12-month waranty
