which do you prefer when texting on your mobile phones? I just bought a new nokia and im tired of using the ABC mode( or the multi tap) when texting friends.T9 is faster.Im still adjusting though.Any tips on how to use it properly is welcome here. And is it really better?

I'm a fan of T9, however my current mobile has a full slide out keyboard which is way easier and quicker to type on.

My phone has a full qwerty keyboard, but I still think I type at the same speed I used to when I had a T9 phone. maybe even slower...

T9 all the way. It is so fast to type with. Once you are used to its dictionary and know when you need to change the word you can even type without looking!

Yup, same here. I love using T9. I even have different language dictionaries, so it makes it easier to type in spanish as well. I would be lost without it

T9 is absolutely better and most convenient once you get the hang of it.Even better than itap right?

Itap is harder to learn than T9. I use T9 now and I love it. Took me ages to get used to predictive T9 on this Sony as I've always had Nokias.

T9 is definitely faster once you're good enough at it.Well just practice really. If you understand how the system works, then it's just a matter of time before you adjust to hitting a key once for any given letter.
