That is very nice for an electric car. If the technology for that is available now how long have conventional motors got left?

It's a pretty impressive car, that's for sure, but until electric vehicles are capable of greater range, I'll stick with gas. At least until it hits $9.00 a gallon or so.

My former employer had a General Motors EV1 (it was on loan from GM) which was actually a lot of fun to drive, if not somewhat surreal. It kinda sounded like George Jetson's car. Seriously, how cool is that?

The tesla roadter actually has a very nice range. I think it's about 250milles
