I was impressed by the video which was clearly able to show the technology at work. I'm sure the picture quality for the thin air projector will improve but at present it is only okay at best. If I had 20 grand to blow on a thing like this I would be one of the first to order it though!

Thanks for the thread. :D

Its annoying how you can see the smoke/gas moving up, you know?
If it just looked like it was a floating image it would be great, cant wait till this gets better :P
And, ofcourse drops in price :(

Oh wow, I still want one. Maybe I'll get one when it get's cheaper. I'm sure it will also get much more refined so the smoke or whatever isn't as visible.

I just can't help but think that it reminds me of R2D2 projecting the image of Princess Leia in Star Wars as they point out in the clip, lol. Who would've thought.

Wow that's freakin' awesome. I always wondered how they could do the whole star wars hologram type thing.

Didn't they use that in Minority Report?

No, in Minority Report, they acutally used glass and a projector.

That looks cool but a little shakey. I think I would get a headache after a little while of watching that thing.

I think... wait... what in the hell was that anyway... WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT THIS? 20 000$ of air... yeah right - cool!!!

It looks awesome, but yeah, the images are a little strainy right now. Maybe in a bit it'll get better, and less expensive.

I'm new to the forum, but just saw this thread. This technology could be used to creat virtual doors and enclosures.

That looks very impressive and looks to have huge potential.

nice product, but would be better if the display was a bit brighter.
