rebranding of other companies laptops as thier own

Im curious to know if any one has spoted other cases of this...

For example http://www.sagernotebook.com sells for the longest time the the monster laptop like the 9750 (http://www.sagernotebook.com) Its the same thing Alienware (http://www.alienware.com/product_detail_pages/Aurora_m7700/aurora-m_gallery_front.aspx?SysCode=PC-LT-AURORA-M-7700&SubCode=SKU-DEFAULT)(now dell) sells and Boxxtech (http://www.boxxtech.com/products/1400.asp).

I mean look at the systems side by side

Sager:

The only real diffrence in thoes laptops that the top plastic to the lid is diffrent thats it with its branding... I mean how does every one feel about this?

Common practise in many industries. Also happens with mattresses and cars even (Vauxhall sold a design to Kia). You buy a products and add value, either by just slapping your brand on it, bundling it with more stuff or actually building upon it.

I just never really noticed till like 2 years ago i mean its so blaintly obvious too... Toms Hardware did a review of a sager rebranded and he comented on their hardware desing and i was liek WTF its not thiers its sagers dont give them credit.. Liek the Dual nvidia SLI laptops alienware has now is sager too...

There's just alot of rebranders and mockers and fakers out there... Just like for Ipods, Creatives, what ever you can think of..

Yea but i dont see rebranding of actual ipods i see just fakes

its just weird to me to see large companies like dell and alienware rebrand a small companies product as thier own..
