I knocked this up pretty quickly (so don't shoot me for errors) for the top 12, the right column is the percentile change of winning each time the raffle is drawn.

If anybody can tell me the equation for working out the percentage based on x drawings let me know and I'll update the spreadsheet.

Percentages where there just the formating wasn't too good, so I'll try again:

The percent takes into account everybodies points (bar mine as I'm exempt). The right column shows the percentage chance of winning when a draw is made. As we're doing at least 10 draws what I'd like to be able to calculate is the chance of winning 1 or more prizes. Any boffins out there?

That hasn't *officially* been decided or stated. Who ever has most points at the end of September chooses which prize they want (that is set in stone), after that all remaining prizes are raffled off. I'll probably do a poll to see what members think about limiting members to a max no. of prizes as I do think it would be better to spread the prizes out as much as possible.

Everybody that has posted is part of it, I only listed the top 12. If anybody works out the totals they'll notice the precentages don't agree, that's because they are taking everybody into account.

I think you should only be allowed to get 1 prize. That is the only way the gadgets will be spread all over the members

I would suggest the best thing would be maximum of one prize per person and the selected persons will choose their prize according to their points order.

I only did the top 12 as a snapshot, at the time you were not in the top 12. You may be now though I don't know without checking. I also need to tweak the SQL a bit to only include quality posts (as far as can be told programmatically).
