Damn, yesterday while replying to Johan's Post in a thread yesterday and playing a game in chris Arcade game site , no idea what happened and somethign happened to my PC,
It was totally flipped and i could not think what i could do.
I shutdown the PC and kicked to 20 times lol thinking some problem with gra[hics card or may be some thing else.
This is just a 20 days old PC with high configuration.
Then finally i called my friend Sumit Bahl (http://forums.coolest-gadgets.com/member.php?u=88) and told him to search google about this problem, and after some moments he gave me this blog http://engtech.wordpress.com/2006/08/01/stupid-windows-features-monitor-display-turns-sideways-or-upside-down/ which finally gave me my life back
This is the exact way my PC was for 30mins

Haha. Nice.
My computer only has up/down options. Still, it's funny.
I do know that PCs on my work have intel graphics. I think some of my coworkers are going to be surprised tomorrow morning... <evil laugh goes here>

This is a great find. I think i know a few friends with intel graphics cards.
Too bad i can't try it on myself (NVIDIA)

This is possible for both Nvidia and Intel graphics chipsets.
As for Intel, I think there is a hotkey (provided you activated it at the Control panel), by pressing [Ctrl]-[Alt]-[left] to rotate left or [Ctrl]-[Alt]-[right] to rotate right.
For Nvidia, access the Nvidia desktop panel, there should be options for you to rotate your desktop.

On Nvidia Card there's the feature, you just gotta set the keys yourself. I don't often rotate my screen cause then I would rotate like made and then the pivot would get loose..

I still don't understand the need of this feature. It once happened with me too and i took my monitor to the retailer and asked him to replace it ;) Then he told me what was wrong. Now i know how it works and there is an option to disable it as well in Intel Extreme Graphics option in control panel. Anyway, it's still a weird functionality feature for me. :)
Amit, I'm glad you didn't tilt your head 90 degree in order to continue your work. Would have surely given lot of neck pian. Oucchhh. My neck still hurts. :D

My computer had the option already enabled.
A simple mistake pressing ctr+alt+up/down/left/right is the only requirement to flip your screen
pwnt yea i got that stuff disabeld
