Is a domot actually a good thing ?

This is more of a moral question , is domot ( a robot to do domestic work ) actually a good thing ?

It makes life easier and lazier.

If everything is done by domots then what is there to do ?

I can't help but think that if I had a domot, my home would probably cease to look like a crackhouse. See, laziness is omnipresent. Laziness will not be caused by the domot. It'll just allow those of us that are somewhat lazy to not live like we're in a homeless shelter. It's win-win really...

There will be arguments on several stages with some thing like this...

First thing is ok I live alone if i have to spend X hours a week cleaning thats X hours taking away from my work (Earning money) or from pleasure like going out and hiking DIRNKING BEEER!!! and other phun things.. now ok yea get a maid... so its taking away a job... ok but what about the jobs it creates for thoes that have to fix the robot build the robot ect. So it creates jobs as well as takes it away...

I also like to think that a robot can be made to become more efficient than a human being as well... I mean face it we as human beings are naturally flawed and will make mistakes because we are only human. A robot with possibly a AI can actually be more efficient creating more time for you to dedicate to doing other things. Things like the AIPU (http://forums.coolest-gadgets.com/showthread.php?p=4706)will make it possible.

Imagen about being a single mother for a minute, have to take care of the kid(s) clean cook work ect that can be a killer, Imagen having a machine do some of it for you?

So in short do i think it is morally a good things? YES 100% will people use it as a excuse to be fat lazy slobs... YES we do it now it wont change the fact that people love to be lazzy and it wont increase it either i don't see robotics the enabler... Its simple your a alcoholic you have your self to blame not the alcohol...
