I've been on the look out for the Siemens Dressman ever since it first came out. It started retailing around a grand Sterling - bit steep but would still mean I'd recoup the investment within a year knowing I'm really crap at ironing.
Now it's on eBay for £300!

I am sooooo tempted...
John Lewis sells it as well:

I didn't even know those things existed (or I'd of written about them by now), if it works you've got to get one and even if it's crap you could still write a review :).
Or you could always go on "The Price is Right" and try to win one

It might look dodgy though to the people across the street, me dressing up this guy and seemingly hugging it and undressing it again after I strangle it.

What a cool gadget! It eventually sold out for £410. But if it means drying out and ironing a wet cloth in a matter of minutes, it can be pretty handy in an emergency. It also inflates and deflates, so you wouldn't have to worry about people looking at you like you are interested on a lifeless body. :p I think this machine takes a lot of electricity, so it isn't very practical.

What an insight...never even knew such things are available. Anyways labor is cheap out here. Yet, I suppose I am going to sit and do some math as to which would be economical in the long run.

Wow... that's kind of crazy. Although, I hate to iron myself so I could see myself using it. Like palefrost I had a job where I had to iron and starch all my clothes as well. I bet this thing would sell like hotcakes to the military.
