My name is Micah and I love cool gadgets. Although I wish I could afford to have more cool gadgets I have my fair share.
I interested in cameras, surveillance, music, toys, games, anything fun.
Hi Micah, welcome to the CG forums always good to see another gadget fanatic.
Do you work with WiLife (from sig) and if so what's their coolest gadget we could write about.

Yeah, I work for wilife. We have an easy home surveillance system with 3 cameras to choose from. Indoor Camera, Outdoor Camera and Spy camera. The spy camera is pretty cool. It's a clock that you plug into an electrical outlet anywhere in your house and the video travels over your power lines to your PC through a USB receiver. I have 4 cameras at my house which I watch from work when I'm bored.
That certainly sounds like something are readers would be interested in, have you got a link to the product.
Sorry to hijack your welcome thread :D.

Hello Mica,
I'm Colstar and welcome to the CG forum. I just clicked on your link and that Spy Cam is most definitely a cool gadget.
God help anyone who tries to steal from your house. Say cheese for the camera !
Posted about it over at http://www.coolest-gadgets.com/20070214/camera-clock-that-broadcasts-over-your-power-lines/ which I think has also been picked up by a few other gadget blogs as well now :). One of the comments we got was about transmission over power lines not being very good, how have you got round that problem?

Yeah, I've been watching and noticed several other blogs picked it up. Thanks for posting that. X10 has a reputation for poor power line connection but we use a technology that is much better. It's called Homeplug. It works best in buildings under 8000 sqft. There have been few customers that have run into problems but for the most for most people it works great. We offer a 30-day moneyback guarantee so there is no risk in trying it out.
Thanks Mica, would you be okay to post that comment on the main site in answer to the other reader's concern.
