Help
I am trying to find out if it is possible to connect my mp3 player to my car,s head unit (sony) by connecting the audio out from the player to the DIN plug in of my car stereo. does anyone know if this could be done ? or some web site that has plans for such an interface
I am aware of the cassette type input (messy) and i am not a fan of the FM transmitter type
So i wonderd if this type of direct input would work.. I dont want to be able to control the mp3 player from the head unit that would be dificult I just want to be able to listen to my music in the order it is in on the player. by the way its not an Ipod
Any advice would be helpfull thanks

I wouldn't recommend that as that will get VERY messy... instead, if you really wanna do connect it, 1) use car tape adapter if your stereo has a tape deck still... or 2) buy a CD player unitwith Aux input and just plug it in directly.

Why not to use FM-transmitter? It can be connected to any device and after that audio is transmitted to the car-radio

I am not crazy about the FM style either. There always seems to be static.
