DIY- turn a FLASHLIGHT into a burning LASER

I found the best DIY project. I've been wanting to buy one of these crazy burning lasers for some time but they are quite pricey!! The ones I'm most interested in are from http://www.wickedlasers.com

After doing some searches on google, I found out you can actually make a laser by yourself...a burning one too! Anyway, I'm really excited and thought I'll share this with everyone here. I'm a long time lurker and never really posted anything, this will be my first.

hehehe where do you get that video? I love DIY projects but I agree with you www.wickedlasers.com is the best but quite pricey. If you try to research for a while in google for the cheapest for laser project maybe try www.techlasers.com its a new company though but the prices are way to lower compared to others. My 2 cents!

Apparently, they're basically the same thing as the KipKay hack, but are somewhat cheaper than making them, have heatsinked laser diodes, and contain 240mw lasers instead of the 200's that the hack uses....
