Well I my self am lookin to splurge on a new prosumer HD camera and i got my eyes on the 2 new babies from cannon witch ship next month or so XH G1 and XH A1 They are the same cameras but one has the abulity to put out time code and gen lock as well as uncompressed HD signal.
Unlike high end HD cameras these MiniHD cmaers compress the video and when you do any bluescreen like i do ocasionaly compression makes NIGHTMARES and compared to high end pro cameras these are cheap. So im thinking about buying the A1
Curious if any oen has any experience with any MiniHD cams and what thier experience is with them.

As you can see side by side they are all most identical except the professional BNC jack cluster with SDI output, GenLock input and Time Code input and output. The XH A1 does not have these.
