View Full Version : Away for a Week (Maybe)
My online life is going to be a bit hit and miss next week. My daughter starts a new school in a new town and I've still not got the keys to my new house, so we're going to be staying with relatives (who I appreciate but would not stay with out of choice) for a week. I'll try to pop in and post with my usual frequency but may miss the odd day.
I'm not sure what I'm dreading most, staying with the outlaws or no proper Net access :mad:

Thanks Peter. One of the reasons I'm doing the move is so I can spend more quality time with my daughter, so far she is taking it all in her stride which is really great.

Staying with outlwas is probably worse.
Anyway, good luck and have a nice week, maybe the relatives aren't that bad. If you use the net on the "outlaws" house don't forget to clean the browser history otherwise they might read this :D

I'm back now, but after a long journey back home. The flight has been delayed for 2 hours.

The weather is okay, somewhat like Ireland. Most of the time, it was pretty cold (not wet), but I was indoor, so that's okay for me.

Gosh, I cant imagine going without online access for a whole week. I'd most likely end up feeling suicidal.

I've got slow Net daily access but don't have any of my normal tools, so I can do forum posts and email but that's about it.
House purchase is a real pain, the guy I'm buying is somewhat strange (has a tattoo saying right on his left foot :confused: ) and doesn't have the correct paper work for the extension, so I'm trying to get everything certified so that the council will pass building regs which are needed before my solicitor will exchange. It's very frustrating.
On the plus side Ali loves her new school which is a big relief.
