Which do you think is more dangerous, a kid or an OAP.
Because both OAP's (http://www.flash.vg/index.php?play=40328) and kids (http://www.flash.vg/index.php?play=40332) do stupid things when in front of a computer.
Infact, it is so funny, it can really make you laugh.
Which is more dangerous, OAP's or kid's?
(PS: Links are examples of stupid things they can do...)
Without looking at the links I'd say OAPs, my folks have caused me more computer hours of pain than my daughter ever has.
I'm guessing it has to do with old people, if it does, I vote for the young people. :p
My Grandma is actually pretty good with the internet, she's been using it for years.
EDIT: Whoops, voted for the wrong person.

It depends on what you mean by dangerous. In terms of computing, I don't think teenagers are bad at handling PC, but if you are talking about social networking and stuffs like that, these are the likelihood age group of people who is like to commit more dangerous acts than others.

My mother in law has caused me nothing but endless problems since the day we got her a comp.
Phrases from her like
"I never touched it"
"I dont know how it got over there"
"It just happened"
"It wasn't me, it did it itself"
"Hold on let me write that down, it may sound easy to you!!"
seem all too common nowadays!

Depens what you mean. If you mean not intentional I would say some (just some) old people which just may cause a fire. But if you mean intentional then teenagers since it's more common (at least where I live) that the teenage will KNOW how to start a good fire with. :Dlol

Defenately teenagers. They have enough knowledge to do tons of damage because they are too stupid (sounds logical, doesn't it?). What i mean is, they have enough knowledge to do certain things, but they just use them without responsability and way over their own mental capabilities.
(I don't mean to offend anyone that is a teenager. What i described is a "typical" teenager. That kind usually doesn't hang out on gadget forums, so i assume none of you fall into that category.)

Definitely OAP! Although I'm 40 <No Laughing>! I spend more time with older people sorting out the things that they messed up. My 5 year old niece can work a computer way better than my 68 year old mother-in-law. Please, no mother-in-law jokes, unless they are really funny! :p So yes, I will go with OAP. Until I'm one of them....:(

Frankly speaking, you are out of touch with this forum. This forum grows like crazy >_<
Each (popular) thread can easily reach several pages in within a few hours.

What's an OAP? :P Haha.
It's a UK term - "United Kingdom shortened form of Old Age Pensioner (OAP) and used on official documents in this form."
I disagree, I think older people because they don't always "get it". I train people how to use computers and I tend to see them making mistakes with little things that add up. They won't own up to it and have no idea why the computer is crashing.
With teens, they figure it out so they won't get into trouble later, then they gain that knowledge (much like I did when I was younger) and use it. Maybe for not so smart things all the time but the older crowd seems to "mess up" things more by accident and not want to tell anyone until it's really bad.
This is a great question though, because it's a close tie probably.
