View Full Version : liquid nitrogen ice cream
I have done this before and its TONS of fun! Tutorial here (http://www.instructables.com/id/EA59UFHG7FEP2879FP/?ALLSTEPS) But ill add to this because if your going to do any thing right you do it WITH POWER TOOLS! so ill look up the links for the power drill atachment thats a stainless mixer :)
this will be the smoothest icecream you will ever taste because Air does not have time to enter the mixture it freezes so quick...
Any ice cream recipe will work... This is a hell of a treat to do in front of guests for fun.

The ice cream sounds fun. I always like a good show for guests. That's why I bought my husband a kitchen butane torch for making cremem brulee.
yea its cool just before you take a rose tip it in and then hit it against the table shatters like glass

That sounds like fun. I would probably get hurt or hurt someone knowing me.

Ohhh man...that sounds AWESOME. I wonder if I could hit up someone I know for some liquid nitrogen. I've always loved science experiments and ice cream, so I guess this is a weird way of putting the two together, lol.
Has anyone actually tried the green chile ice cream?

you could get some liquid nitrogen from lab attendants. They are always willing to get some extra cash.

Man... that sounds like something my amatuer scientist father would have done with us when we were kids. So fun.
I remember we did something similar (not the same though) in high school science class, and the teacher was too cheap to buy cream, so he did it with coffee creamer and it made everybody sick. lol.
