Gadget Shows

Last year I went to the Stuff Gadget Show and was really impressed with it and it gave me a load of stuff to write about (they even gave us 10 free tickets (http://www.coolest-gadgets.com/20051101/free-tickets-to-the-best-of-stuff-show/) to give away). I'll be off again this year and will be on the scrounge so if any members fancy a free ticket let me know here :).

I'm also looking at going to CES (http://www.cesweb.org/default.asp) in Vegas in January which is going to be my most exciting trip to date and I will be blogging there live.

Does anybody else know of any other tech trade shows that are worth a visit?

Cebit (www.cebit.de/) Hannover is one of the worlds largest computer expos. There is also Linux Tag (http://www.linuxtag.org/)( Linux Day ) in germany. Those are the two I visited.

In Holland we have the "Huishoud Beurs" which translates into "Housekeeping Show" - whilst it used to be for moms only (pretty much) I believe nowadays with Tech creeping into the domestic environment you should be able to source some useful gadgets like Roomba's etc. there. Not so much the geek gadgets I suppose.

No probs, I'll ask the PR agency to send me some. Going to shows is a great way to find original products that no other blogs have written about yet. You can also get on companiy mailing lists so they send you their press releases meaning you hear about the latest gadgets without having crawl the web and if you write about an original gadget first it's a great way to get links off other tech sites.

Theres a neat show in NYC once a year its like Tech Life or some thing lots of cool stuff :)
