View Full Version : Yubi-Wa Ring Phone with Bone Conduction Technology
Yubi-Wa Ring Phone or Finger Phone (http://lina-lee.com/blog/2006/07/02/yubi-wa-ring-phone-aka-finger-phone/), a tiny egg shaped phone to be worn on your finger. It's actually a bluetooth device connected to your phone. What unique is that it uses the bone conduction technology that is perfect for you to listen to the conversation clearly when talking with your phone in huge crowd!

It's such a small phone!!! U're sure it works? Or can it be the calling phone?

This phone looks really neat. The technology that is out now. Makes you wonder what thing will look like twenty years from now.

That's only slightly funny looking ;) I also think it's odd that you have to stick your finger in your ear, but hey, that's innovation.
Still, as tater03 says, it only makes me wonder what other technologies are coming our way.
i read about this last year i think when giz had a artical on the bluetooth watch that did the same thing mic was in the watch and it used ur bonesi n ur fingers as the audio exact same way. but its a little weird walkin around with ur finger in your ear... i dont see it being the next big thing because you loose a hand to use and thats why we have hands free headsets...

Bone conduction. Nuts. I wonder what people from the past, even 50 years ago, would think if they came forward and saw us all with these tiny little objects, talking to ourselves. :P
I still walk around NYC see'in people with hands free headsets and not see the headset right away and think they are talkin to me or them selvs to this day.
