Why have they not made scratch-less Cd's yet? I cant tell you how many CD's Ive lost because i left them out and forgot to handle them correctly. How hard would it be to make them scratch-less?

Who knows?? But that's why we make backups. ;) We shouldn't have to... but they (manufacturers) are asking for it...

I believe it is possible, but the technology to mass produce such CDs might be too expensive, considering special material is required to ensure the surface will not be prone to scratches.

actualy there is a "scratchless CD design" http://www.scratchlessdisc.com/

its not scratchless persay its just got little nubs that act like feet to keep the CD from touching a surface... this is for thoes lazzy people who leave cd's layin around...

I have not used them and they have been out for a while so i cant say how great they are but seem gimmicky to me...
