Any one else see todays woot (http://www.woot.com/)?
Im having a hard time trying to find a reason not to buy it specialy for that price.
Any one actualy use this thing?

seems ot be getting great reviews too 25 bucks shipped is not bad

TV tuner is pretty lame (esp. when it comes to video capture/record)... you get what you paid for...
I got the one w/o tuner just so I can play Gamecube on my computer...
When I get off my lazy butt I will do a review of sorts...
see thats funny you say that a lot of people are givign it great reviews it seems

I was referring to here (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107560) and here (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=28006&t=332793). The main problem is that it encodes via software and not hardware...
i see people saying good things on thoes linked forums...

First, TV itself is ok to decent. However, if you read my post, I was focusing on the DVR functionality, which is the bad part. If you can live with that and don't need to record things, you are fine. Read the post next time.
yea but look at what it is... if i was goign to use it purely as a dvr really i mean its ment for grabbin game footage thats about it...
