Anybody use this?

I'm not sure if this is the right catgory to ask this in, but here goes? Has anybody used the Skype phone converter? Was looking into this, but not sure if it is really worth buying. Does it work the way they state it does. Does anybody have any opioions on this product? Thanks

I haven't used that, but I don't really like Skype too much. I would get static sometimes, and dropped calls as well. I got sick of dealing with it and got stopped using it in a short amount of time, so what I had happen may not be typical.

I dunno... I hear a lot of good things about Skype. I mean, there's some static, but that often happens when you're calling internationally. I also heard that they have a deal which allows free calling to the US from some countries til the end of the year.

I use Skype but I have not seen that before. I have been looking at getting a phone to work with Skype but that seems like a real affordable alternative. I might check it out.

If you want to use skype full time as a phone get your self a skype phone...

We use Google Voice for long distance calls from home. Haven't found a good enough reason for paying for long distance calls yet.

Yeah I have an actual Skype phone from Philips. Works pretty well most of the time.
