I want to know what you all thing of my gadget?
My invention the BulletBobber (a fishing float) is a castable mini planer board that flips direction when given a little tug. In a slow current you can tow your bait or lure about anywhere you want down stream without recasting. In calm water it can plane to the side as you retrieve and steer around weeds or under overhanging structure. Basically it can go many places a regular bobber can’t. It also reduces or eliminates the need to recast to cover an area.
Watch the video at www.bulletbobber.com and find the Top 10 TAB to read and see diagrams that explain the advantages it provides over regular bobbers. They are nearly indestructible and good for fresh or salt water.
The 2 most functional are the SmartCast & and BulletBobber.
The BulletBobber put direction control in a bobber using a unique shape and Humminbird put a wireless sonar (fish/depth finder) unit in a bobber called the Smartcast using many pieces and materials. The BulletBobber can tow the Smartcast around to scout for fish and then be replaced by a lure to catch them. You may not want to risk loosing the Smartcast. You can go to www.bulletbobber.com and www.humnhbird.com to see the 2 products and compare prices.
The Smartcast (Wireless Sonar Bobber) is an example of high tech progress being applied to a very old occupation.
The BulletBobber is something that could have been invented at the time of the first hook and fishing line.
With fishing being around as long as it has I’m feeling pretty smart inventing the BulletBobber. But then I could never invent wireless or sonar technology let alone put it in a little bobber. I wish I could get Humminbird (Owned by Johnson Outdoors) to work with me to combine the functions in a single unit or at least package a BulletBobber with their units. It wouldn’t make me any smarter but I’d feel better if I had money for advertising. I am smart enough to get this far with my invention and create some advertisements using my AutoCAD capabilities. I used to be draftsman but they broke my pencils a long time ago and gave me a computer so now I’m a technical designer a senior technical designer. I’m also a fisherman that finally made the fishing tool I always wanted.
