Which mobile device out there gives you the best bang for your buck? I love new technology, but don't love the sometimes overblown prices that come along with it. Which devices seem to balance cost with novelty?

the latest 3G/UMTS phones are definitely worth every cent. The Nokia N Series (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_Nseries) and Sony Ericsson W and M series.

always remember the thing with mobile phones is that what you buy today will be an antique soon but with 3G/UMTS it takes a while.
