I was just thinking that that concept of home automation has been around for awhile, ever since the advent of robots at the very least. But, what I can't think of are some earlier products! The only one I can think of that might fit is the Clapper (clap on *clapclap* clap off *clapclapclap*), but all that does is turn the lights on/off, and you still need to do something to trigger the switch. What are some other older home automation products?
