I was never really happy with web-based RSS readers before, but this new update to Google Reader (http://google.com/reader/) is just awesome.

It's a Gmail-esque interface, kinda. Subscribing to feeds is much easier, and going through items is a lot better, too. I prefer the item view, however you can view just a list of the items and select the ones you wish to view.

One of my favorite features of Gmail is included in Reader, the ability to star, a nice way to tag something as important or your favorite.

I'd suggest checking it out if you're looking for a good web-based feed reader.

Looks good but I can't believe you've not got CG in there.

I vist CG enough that if I don't know the latest posts, it's kinda sad. :P

Besides, when I use Reader, it's generally to look for a gadget to write about, and when that happens, I have CG up to search for it (in case it's been written about before).

Man, that IS cool. Google does everything well... Has anybody seen the updates to Google Chat that lets you talk for free? Very cool.

I also read somewhere that they were going to start a Google exchange where people could buy or sell things freely.

That would probably be Base (base.google.com). :)

I really go love Google, at least for their organization. I set "important" feeds up on my customized homepage, and the rest on the reader. Trying to stay reasonably well-informed over here :)

I have just tested Google Reader yesterday and it was really nice. Everything seems to be integrated into one account, e.g. RSS, GMail, Analytics.... and so on...
Got to write up on that Google Reader later ;)
